Bushcare

Do you enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the bush?

Do you enjoy being outdoors and meeting like-minded people?

Bushcare is a great way to positively contribute to local bushland and learn more about the plants and animals that call it home.

Bushcare volunteers spend around two hours a month planting trees, removing weeds and rubbish, and monitoring wildlife and waterways. All work is carried out according to an approved annual plan, ensuring the best outcome.

Several people working for a couple of hours on a regular basis can make a vast improvement to the bushland habitat in your area. Bushcare teams work to a yearly plan ensuring their efforts are put to best use.

The Bushcare program began more than 10 years ago with just six groups. Now there are over 40 active teams made of over 300 volunteers working in the Redlands.
